What is SKY-001
SKY-001 is Skyfall AI’s engineering world model. The company introduced it on 19 October 2026 as a system for designing physical things, starting with 3D CAD and BIM.
Skyfall’s description is specific. Engineering design, they say, is not a language problem. It is a long sequence of geometric decisions. SKY-001 is presented as a hierarchical planner: a composer decides what an object is made of, and a construction world model steps through the visual states that build each part. The official page calls out geometric spatial reasoning and part-by-part design as the core of that loop.
The public demos focus on assemblies (a sports car, a turbofan, a welding robot, a compact tractor are named on the product page) and on floor plans. Around those demos, Skyfall lists later ambitions: PCB design, aerospace, energy systems, protein folding, and molecule design. Ambition is not the same as a tool you can call today.
Access, on Skyfall’s own FAQ, is a waitlist until they say it is public. They have not published a developer REST API on the pages reviewed for this summary. This site will not invent one, proxy their website, or sell credits for a model it does not operate.
The published numbers are collected on the benchmark page, the design story on the CAD and BIM page, and the availability note on the access page.
About this website
sky-001.org is an independent briefing. Skyfall AI does not operate it, endorse it, or receive the addresses submitted here. Editorial practice is to paraphrase public pages, link those pages, and label benchmark figures as vendor-reported. We do not add a release date, an API price, or an open-weight claim that those pages do not state.
Corrections and deletion requests go to support@sky-001.org. Skyfall’s own contact on the product page is info@skyfall.ai.
A shorter FAQ is on this site, and the briefing article links onward to the CAD, BIM, and comparison notes.
